A different perspectve...

As marketers and designers, we should always be looking at other disciplines for lessons that we can apply to our own work. I have always felt that coming out of a slightly "off" pathway to my current position has given me skills and perspective that give me an advantage over the typical MBA graduate. (My first design degree is in theatrical set design.)

Case in point - here is an article "Top 10 Tips to Great Museum Exhibit Design" - it shouldn't take any great stretch of imagination to see how these principles can apply to interactive marketing as well.  Perhaps by thinking about these design principles in a museum setting and then thinking about how they are relevant to design and marketing in an on-line world we can look at the work we are doing with a different perspective.

That different perspective just might give your next campaign an added advantage.
